El Castillejo's nine-hole municipal course sits on a high plateau above Teruel city. The open, wind-exposed layout tests club selection in the thin air at over 900 m altitude. Sparse vegetation and dry conditions create a firm, links-like playing surface. Panoramic views of the Mudejar towers and surrounding sierras reward the climb.
