Real Golf Club de Pedreña is hallowed ground for any lover of Spanish golf — this is the club where the legendary Severiano Ballesteros grew up, and where his genius was first nurtured. Founded in 1928 on the shores of the Bay of Santander, the championship course sits on a peninsula of lush, undulating parkland with the sea visible from numerous holes. The layout, redesigned by Harry S. Colt, is a superb test of links-influenced inland golf — windswept, firm and strategic. The traditional clubhouse is a treasure trove of Seve memorabilia and Spanish golfing history.
