Founded in 1963, the course has evolved into a beautifully mature parkland set among ancient oaks, chestnuts and birches. The layout rewards strategic thinking — narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accurate driving, while the large, undulating greens require a deft putting touch. The misty, temperate Asturian climate keeps the fairways emerald green year-round. The elegant clubhouse, with superb regional cuisine, is an important social venue for the Gijón golfing community.
