Club Overview & History
El Bosque Golf is a championship venue of international renown, set in the spectacularly wooded hills near the town of Chiva, approximately 30 minutes west of Valencia. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1975, the course is a masterclass in strategic design: wide fairways invite the big drive, but well-placed bunkers, lakes and the rolling terrain reward careful positioning over brute force. El Bosque has hosted multiple editions of the Spanish Open and the European Amateur Championship. The setting ÔÇö amid mature pine and holm oak forest with sweeping views of the Valencian mountains ÔÇö is simply magnificent. The elegant stone-clad clubhouse is one of the finest in eastern Spain.
