Club Overview & History
Aravell Golf Club is a remarkable 18-hole mountain course situated in the Alt Urgell region of the Catalan Pyrenees, at an elevation of 800 metres. Opened in 2007 and designed by a team led by architect Jordi Soley, the championship layout follows the meandering course of the Segre river through alpine meadows and pine-clad hillsides with spectacular views of the surrounding Pyrenean peaks. Water hazards from the river and tributary streams feature on numerous holes, and the course takes on a particularly striking character in autumn when the surrounding foliage turns gold. The Country Club includes upscale holiday apartments and a restaurant.
