Club Overview & History
Founded in 1932, Real Club de Golf Tenerife is the island's oldest and most prestigious club, bearing the coveted Royal title. Located in the lush Orotava Valley on Tenerife's verdant north coast, the course enjoys a temperate microclimate that keeps the fairways green year-round. The layout, originally designed by Henry Cotton and later modified, climbs through dense subtropical vegetation with ancient laurels, chestnuts and dragon trees framing elegant fairways. The imposing peak of Mount Teide, Spain's highest mountain, looms above the course providing a truly iconic backdrop. The traditional clubhouse is a social institution in the north of the island, hosting members' events throughout the year.
