Club Overview & History
La Sella Golf is the centrepiece of the Dénia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort & Spa, situated at the foot of the imposing Montgó massif near the charming town of Dénia. Designed by the prolific Spanish architect José María Olazábal and opened in 1991, the championship course threads its way through orange and olive groves with the dramatic limestone Montgó towering overhead. Olazábal's design emphasises strategic variety: narrow holes lined with mature trees alternate with more open, risk-reward par-5s, and the well-defended greens demand accurate iron play. Three loops of nine holes offer flexible playing options. The Marriott resort provides five-star accommodation, a world-class spa, and multiple dining options.
