Club Overview & History

El Salobre is a dual-course golfing destination perched on the volcanic hillsides above Maspalomas in southern Gran Canaria. The two 18-hole layouts ÔÇö Old Course and New Course ÔÇö offer contrasting experiences across a dramatic, sun-scorched terrain of ravines, cacti and basalt outcrops. The Old Course follows the floor of a verdant barranco with narrow fairways and generous greens, while the New Course climbs higher onto exposed ridgelines with sweeping views of the Atlantic and the Maspalomas dunes below. Both benefit from excellent practice facilities, a well-stocked pro shop and a clubhouse restaurant with panoramic terrace. El Salobre is consistently rated among the Canaries' top golfing venues.
