Club Overview & History
Perched on a rocky headland in Alcúdia Bay with the lighthouse island of Alcanada as its constant visual companion, Club de Golf Alcanada is among the most scenically dramatic courses in all of Spain. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 2003, the layout cascades across pine-cloaked hillsides and exposed coastal ridges, offering breathtaking panoramas of the Bahía de Alcúdia and the Cap de Formentor peninsula from virtually every hole. Pristine playing surfaces, creative bunkering and the ever-present Mediterranean breeze combine to produce a challenging yet supremely enjoyable round. The elegant clubhouse, styled as a traditional Mallorcan finca, serves outstanding seasonal cuisine on a terrace overlooking the sea. Alcanada is regularly voted the finest course in the Balearic Islands.
