Club de Campo Laukariz

Club de Campo Laukariz is Vizcaya's premier 18-hole private club, set in a lush parkland estate in Mungia, just north of Bilbao. The course, designed by José Gancedo and opened in 1975, features broad, tree-lined fairways that sweep through a landscape of Atlantic oaks, chestnuts and manicured lawns. Several ponds and a stream add water-hazard interest. The temperate Biscayan climate keeps the course green year-round, and the elegant clubhouse — with its fine-dining restaurant and panoramic lounge — is a centrepiece of Bilbao's business and social scene. Laukariz has hosted the Spanish Open and remains the golfing standard-bearer for the Basque Country's economic capital.
