About Campo de Golf El Saler
Club Overview & History
El Saler is Spain's most celebrated links course and one of the finest on the European continent. Designed by the legendary Javier Arana and opened in 1968 within the La Albufera Natural Park south of Valencia, the course occupies a breathtaking dune landscape between the Mediterranean Sea and the historic freshwater lagoon. The front nine threads through fragrant pine forest before the back nine bursts onto the sand dunes, where thundering surf and whistling sea breezes create a true links experience. Consistently ranked in the World Top 100, El Saler has hosted the Spanish Open on numerous occasions and remains a pilgrimage course for discerning golfers. The adjoining Parador de El Saler provides the perfect base for an unforgettable golf experience.
