Club Overview & History
Amarilla Golf occupies a dramatic coastal position on Tenerife's sunny southeast shore, where dark lava flows meet the turquoise Atlantic. Designed by Donald Steel and opened in 1989, this links-style course threads between volcanic outcrops and a working marina, with several holes playing directly along the cliff edge. The signature par-3 over the ocean is one of the most photographed holes in the Canary Islands. Consistent trade winds and firm, fast playing surfaces demand a creative, links-minded approach. The modern clubhouse overlooks the marina and provides a convivial post-round setting with excellent dining.
