Club Overview & History
The grande dame of Mallorcan golf, Son Vida was the island's first course when it opened in 1964 within the grounds of a magnificent 13th-century castle estate overlooking Palma. The course, originally designed by Fred Hawtree and subsequently refined, winds through centuries-old parkland with mature pine, cypress and olive trees creating cathedral-like corridors. Elevated greens with panoramic views of Palma's cathedral, the bay and the distant Tramuntana mountains provide unforgettable backdrops. Now part of the Arabella Golf group, Son Vida combines old-world charm with modern resort luxury, the adjacent Castillo Hotel Son Vida offering one of Mallorca's most exclusive five-star experiences.
